Family Tanzania: Safaris and Zanzibar Beaches
The perfect family safari through northern Tanzania's most iconic parks, combined with the relaxation and culture of the spice island. An adventure designed for grown-ups and kids alike to enjoy African wildlife in all its glory together.
Description
Traveling with children to Tanzania is far simpler and more rewarding than many imagine. This itinerary has been carefully designed to maximize comfort and safety for the whole family, with lodgings chosen for their family atmosphere, pools and tailored menus. The trip begins in Arusha. The first destination is Tarangire, famous for its immense elephant herds and majestic baobabs. Ngorongoro Crater is a natural amphitheater of 100 sq mi where lions, hippos and zebras can all be seen in a single day. The Serengeti offers one of nature's greatest spectacles: the calving season of the Great Migration between January and February, when half a million wildebeest drop their calves in barely three weeks. Watching a newborn wildebeest stand up and run minutes after birth is an unforgettable life lesson. The trip culminates in Zanzibar: white-sand beaches and turquoise waters, snorkeling among colorful fish and a fascinating stroll through Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where children will imagine tales of sultans and explorers.
Health & safety
- Mandatory: yellow fever certificate for the whole family
