What is TransitNous

New journey, new destination.

Information portal on international mobility: verified guides to destinations, travel itineraries, residence and nationality, based on official sources.

What you'll find

Four collections of structured information and a blog with editorial analysis. Each data point cites its official source and its verification date.

In addition, the blog publishes editorial analyses (9 articles) linked to the verified fact sheets.

What we are not

TransitNous is not a consultancy, a law firm, or a paperwork agency. It does not handle applications or sell migration services.

The information we publish is guidance-oriented and free. For migration matters, the legally valid reference is always the official source linked in each guide. For specific procedures we recommend consulting a professional accredited with the authorities of the destination country.

Verification methodology

Every guide on the site follows the same four-step process before publication and renewal.

1

Fuentes oficiales

Verification starts with the State itself: interior ministries, official gazettes (BOE, Diário da República, Bundesgesetzblatt…), parliaments (nationality laws) and official tourism portals. Press, blogs and commercial guides are never used as references.

2

Source hierarchy

  • Level 1Direct government source (ministry, parliament, official body).
  • Level 2Official redistributive legal sources (ILO NATLEX, verified treaty databases).
  • Level 3Alternative institutional source, only when the above does not exist and always labeled as such.
3

Fecha visible

Each guide displays the “Verified: YYYY-MM-DD” badge with the date of its last check. The date is updated at every scheduled review, and the cited fact links directly to the source.

4

Transparencia

When a country does not publish the information on a clear government portal, the guide says so explicitly alongside the best official reference available. No fact is presented as official without a source to back it.

How we maintain the information

Review cadence

Migration (residences and nationalities) is reviewed monthly; tourism (destinations and itineraries) every 2 months, following documented internal policies.

Community alerts

The comment form at the bottom of each page lets readers flag outdated or incorrect data. It is the direct channel between readers and the editorial team.

Editorial

The blog follows the same rule: every article links to the verified guides and tells fact from opinion. 9 articles published.
