You climb to Kandy to visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and a botanical garden with orchids. The highlight journey is the train from Kandy to Ella: considered one of the most beautiful in the world, it crosses iron bridges and tunnels among tea fields. In the south, a jeep safari in Yala National Park searches for leopards, wild elephants and crocodiles. The trip ends on the beaches of Bentota, with calm waters and sea turtles.
