Gentle Adventure on the Costa Dorada: From Barcelona to Salou

Seven days of family discovery from Barcelona to Salou, with a theme park, accessible beaches, and culture tailored to all ages.

7 days1 countrySummer (June–August) for the beach and theme park with extended hours

Description

This itinerary is designed so that a family with members aged 5 to 80 can enjoy it together, with no one left out or exhausted. It begins in Barcelona, where the Sagrada Familia is viewed from the outside to avoid long lines with children. Park Güell offers a colorful stroll among mosaics, with stroller-friendly access. Barceloneta Beach, with its fine sand and gentle slope, allows the little ones to swim safely. The Barcelona Aquarium, with its 80-meter underwater tunnel, fascinates all ages. Barcelona Zoo combines education and entertainment. The Montjuïc cable car offers city views without any uphill effort. From Barcelona, a short train ride takes you to Sitges, where the flat seafront promenade is ideal for older walkers. The highlight of the trip is PortAventura World, a theme park with attractions for all ages. The little ones enjoy Sesame Adventure and the children's area, while adults can join in on family rides. Evenings are quiet, with early dinners at family-friendly restaurants and gentle walks along the beach. Family hotels offer adapted pools. Each day includes rest and nap time so the little ones don't get overstimulated and the adults have time to relax.
