Montenegro's coast has emerged as one of the most electric party destinations in the Mediterranean, and this itinerary covers its hottest spots. Budva, Montenegro's nightlife capital, is home to legendary clubs like Top Hill, which holds five thousand people atop a cliff overlooking the Adriatic, and Trocadero, where house and techno play until the first light of dawn. Jaz Beach, home of the Sea Dance festival, draws the world's best DJs to a natural sand stage. Farther south, Bar adds a more local touch with kafanas that turn into all-night parties. Finally, Ulcinj and its thirteen-kilometer Velika Plaza beach offer Albanian beach bars, where the blend of Montenegrin and Albanian cultures creates a unique atmosphere. Every night gets better after eleven, when the Adriatic reflects the lasers and the bass thunders through the mountains.
